In-Depth Information
Figure 7-21. Type your text and choose a text animation effect
from the list.
3.
Type the text you want to animate in the Text box. Note that you
can enter multiple lines of text and use any punctuation or special
symbols.
Tip:
There is no limit to the amount of text you can animate, but it
works best if you animate smaller phrases rather than long strings of
text. You can press the Enter key to create multiple lines of text in one
animation, or you can create several one-line animations for the
same slide.
4.
Choose the animation effect you want from the Effect list. As you
select from the list of animations, a preview of the selected anima-
tion will display on the left side of the window, using the words
you've entered in the text box. For example, for a slide introducing
Harry A. Franck topics, we may want to create a title slide that
makes it appear that a pen is writing out the letters on the slide.
This is the animation called “Feather.”
5.
If you want to change the font, size, or color of your text, click the
Change font button to display the Font window, and then choose
the font, style, size, and color you want. For example, we may
want to use a font that looks more like handwriting.
