Adding or Editing a Highlight Box
To add or edit a highlight box, follow these steps:
1.
In Edit view, select the slide you want to edit.
2.
To add a highlight box, from the Insert menu, select Highlight
Box , or click the Highlight Box icon ( ) to display the New
Highlight Box window. To edit an existing highlight box, double-
click on the highlight box to display the New Highlight Box
window.
3.
If necessary, change the look of the caption by editing the follow-
ing properties. As you make changes, the preview in the center of
the window changes to reflect each new selection.

Frame color
Click on the down arrow in the color box next to Frame color to display the
Color window, and then choose a color for the border around the outside
edge of the highlight box. This is usually a darker shade than the inside of the
box.
Frame width
Specify the width, in pixels, for the border or frame of the highlight box. Set the
width to 0 to remove the frame.
Fill color
Click on the down arrow in the color box next to Fill color to display the Color
window, and then choose a color for the highlighting. This is usually a lighter
shade than the frame of the box.
Fill transparency
Enter the percentage of transparency for the inside of the box. 0% would be
completely solid; 100% would be completely transparent. Most of the time,
you want something between these two values so that the highlight box is
noticeable and yet the text behind the box still shows through.
