If the image you want to use is not yet in the Captivate library,
click the Import button to browse to the image location, then
click OK to select the file, copy it to the slide background and
into the Captivate library, and also close the Select image from
library window.
Using a Background Image that Isn't in the Library
You don't have to use the Captivate library to insert a new background;
you can cut and paste images from any other application.
1.
From a graphics or image editing application, copy the image to
your clipboard. This is usually done by pressing the Control and C
keys ( Ctrl+C ) or using the software's Copy function.

Open the Captivate project that contains the slide or slides where
you want to place the new background.

Select the slide by clicking on it. You can be in either Storyboard
or Edit view.
Tip:
You can update the background of multiple slides at once by
selecting multiple slides. To select multiple slides, select the first slide,
then hold down the Control key as you click additional slides you
want to select.

Paste the image from the clipboard into the slide using one of the
following methods:
Click the right mouse button to display the pop-up menu and
choose Paste as Background .
From the Edit menu, choose Paste as Background .
Hold down the Shift and Control keys on your keyboard, then
press the V key ( Shift+Ctrl+V ).

Click Ye s to confirm that you want to replace the background of
the selected slide. The new image will be placed on the slide, and
all the original objects such as mouse movements, captions, or
highlight boxes will remain where they were.
