Copying a Slide Background
If you need to make a change to the background of a slide, you can eas-
ily copy the slide to your system clipboard, and then paste the slide
into a graphics package for editing. Select the slide that has the back-
ground you want to copy, then use any of the following methods:
Click the right mouse button to display the pop-up menu and
choose Copy Background .
From the Edit menu, choose Copy Background .
Hold down the Shift and Control keys on your keyboard, then
press the Y key ( Shift+Ctrl+Y ).
The background of the slide is stored as an image onto the clipboard.
You can then paste it into any graphics package for editing as neces-
sary or paste from the clipboard to the background of any other slide.
Inserting a New Background Image
You can insert any image file as a new background into any slide. This
can be the image that you copied from the slide (and edited), or it can
be an entirely new image. You also have a choice of choosing an image
from the Captivate library or from any other location.
