Choose one of the following options to make the image fit the
movie and display the image slide:
Crop—The edges of the image that exceed the movie size will
be cut off, leaving the center of the image.
Resize—The entire image will be made smaller to fit in the
movie.
Adding a PowerPoint Slide
Captivate can use existing PowerPoint slides as the basis for a project.
When you add PowerPoint slides, some elements will be automatically
converted to the Captivate format:
Each PowerPoint slide will become one slide in the Captivate
project.
Any content on the PowerPoint Notes page will be copied to the
Captivate Notes function.
The PowerPoint slide title will be stored as the Captivate slide
label.
However, any transitions or audio or other unique PowerPoint ele-
ments will not be carried over to the Captivate movie. Each slide will
be assigned a default time by the Captivate software—you can go back
and edit the timing and other properties as needed.
