In-Depth Information
There are three ways to turn the filmstrip display off:
From the Edit view, click View to display the viewing options,
then click Show Thumbnails to deselect it.
Hold down the Control and Alt keys on your keyboard, and then
press the letter B .
Click the X icon in the upper-left corner of the displayed filmstrip.
To change the location of the filmstrip, move your cursor to the verti-
cal dotted line on the side of the title bar until the cursor changes to an
icon with four arrows. Hold down the mouse button and drag the film-
strip to a new location. You can place the filmstrip on any side of the
Captivate window, or move it to the center of the Captivate window
where it will be opened in its own “floating” window. You can move
floating windows around as needed, and even move them off the Capti-
vate window altogether (such as to a second monitor).
To change the size of the slide icons, click the View menu, choose
Thumbnail Size to display the size options, then click the size option
you want (Small, Medium, or Large). Alternatively, right-click on any
thumbnail, then select the desired size from the Thumbnail Size option
on the context menu.
Figure 6-4. Display the filmstrip with small thumbnails at the bottom of the screen.
