The INGUAT information office (Calle Santander, tel. 7762-1392, 9 A.M.-5 P.M. daily)
has basic hotel information, transportation schedules, and friendly staff who can answer
your questions.
Communications
The main post office is on the corner of Calle Santander and Calle 15 de Febrero. DHL is
in Edificio Rincón Sai at the northern end of Calle Santander.
Telgua (7 A.M.-midnight) is halfway down Calle Santander near the junction with Calle
15 de Febrero. There is no shortage of Internet cafés along Calle Santander for making in-
ternational phone calls. Typical rates are $0.30 per minute to North America and $0.50 per
minute to Europe.
There are Internet setups all over town. Among the best are MayaNet (halfway down
Calle Santander, tel. 7762-2092) and Café Pulcinella (Calle Principal 0-72). Both are open
9 A.M.-9 P.M. and charge about $1 per hour.

About halfway down Calle Santander, Banco Industrial has a Visa ATM and can cash U.S.
