Everything is within walking distance at Whistler Village.
Each weekend in May and June and daily through summer, the streets of Whistler come
alive with street entertainment from musicians, jugglers, and comedians.
Canada Day,
July 1, is celebrated with a parade through Whistler Village.
Whistler's accommodations range from a hostel with inexpensive dorm beds to luxury re-
sort hotels. It's just a matter of selecting one to suit your budget and location preference.
Winter visitors may want to be right in Whistler Village or by the gondola base in Whistler
Creekside so they can stroll out their door and jump on a lift. (The term “slopeside” de-
scribes accommodations within a five-minute walk of the lifts.)
