Rockwater Secret Cove Resort

well signposted along Highway 101 through downtown.
PENDER HARBOUR
Along the shores of Pender Harbour lie the villages of Madeira Park, Garden Bay, and
Irvines Landing. Boating and ocean fishing are popular activities on this stretch of coast,
and Ruby and Sakinaw Lakes—between Madeira Park and Earls Cove—are an angler's de-
light in season. Canoeists head for the chain of eight lakes between Garden Bay and Eg-
mont, where those casting a line will find good fishing for cutthroat trout.
SKOOKUMCHUCK NARROWS PROVINCIAL PARK
Just before Earls Cove, take the road north to Egmont, then the four-kilometer (2.5-mile)
hiking trail (one hour each way) along Sechelt Inlet to a tidal oddity protected as a park. Its
name meaning “turbulent water” in Chinook, Skookumchuck protects Narrows and Roland
