These leaf translations all share an overall quality of recognition—the selection of details com-
municates the idea “leaf” in its simplest, distilled entirety—but the language of the translation is
changed in each, affording knowledge of different aspects of the idea “leaf” as well as specifically
integrating a given translation with the formal qualities of different typographic options.
