A passive composition of one line of type, centered within a format, is activated by shifting the
line off center, both vertically and horizontally. Each space is altered in relation to the other.
In this raw composition, the elements are clustered together in a passive relationship with the
format. No relationship exists between type and space nor, indeed, among the informational com-
ponents—except an arbitrary sequence.
