Triadic Sometimes referred to as split complements, a color triad involves three colors at 120° in-
tervals from each other on the color wheel. One color is complementing the two colors equidistant
from its true complement.
BLUE - GREEN AND VIOLET are loosely analogous, being separated by pure blue and blue-violet
on the color wheel.
