Relationships between colors are defined by their relative position on the Munsell col-
or wheel. The various hues—differences in light wavelengths—exhibit a value (dark-
ness or lightness) and a chroma, also called saturation or brilliance. These attributes
are mapped along different axes in the model diagram at right.
