Learn about the region's geology at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center.
Though the facility seems dated, the exhibits and animals are well kept by the caring,
cheerful staff. Check the schedule for hourly demonstrations with penguins, harbor seals,
and sea lions. The aquarium is good for families with small children, who can expect to
spend about 90 minutes here. It's near the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center and accessed
via a short walk over the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Robert Moses Parkway.
Downtown Niagara Falls is bordered by Niagara Falls State Park to the south and west,
Niagara Street to the north, and 4th Street (and the casino) to the east. This tourist area
