BY CAR
If your hotel is in the downtown area, you don't need a car to visit Niagara Falls State
Park. Downtown hotels are within walking distance, and the park is best explored on
foot or via the hop-on, hop-off Niagara Scenic Trolley (716/278-1730,

move your car to the Goat Island lot for no additional charge, as long as you show your
receipt at the parking attendant booth. During winter, when there are few tourists, parking
at the state park is sometimes free, especially on Goat Island.
