5. After a car is parked at any available slot, or the time it is exiting the parking facilit-
ies, all data related to its entrance or exit and parking expense is determined and dis-
played on a LCD in real time.
6. Prior to exit, a driver must stop at the exit kiosk to make a payment to cover the park-
ing cost. Upon depression of the Paid button by the parking operator, the out arm
gate is lifted up to let the driver out. There is a 10 second grace period from the time
of leaving the parking lot for derivers to exit the garage area.
7. If for any reason, the driver does not leave the parking lot, the output of count up
counter would not be changed.
8. Upon the exit of the car (plus the gate activation), the system automatically increases
the number of slots available in the garage by one unit.
