Added Note
On January 3, 2013, Xiaojian Dend and his colleagues, confirmed the existence of multiple 4-vinyl
reductases in an article that appeared in Plant Physiology:
Pingrong Wang, Chummei Wan, Zhengjun Xu, Pingyu Wang, Wenming Wang, Changhui Sun,
Xiaozhi Ma, Yunhua Xiao, Jianqing Zhu, Xiaoling Gao, and Xiaojian Deng (2013). One divinyl
reductase reduces the 8-vinyl groups in various intermediates of chlorophyll biosynthesis in a
given higher plant species, but the isozyme differs between species. Plant Physiol. 161: 521-534.
