scatter workers2 faminc, ylabel(,
angle(0)
)
Here, we change the angle of the labels
of the
70
-axis so that they read
horizontally by using the
angle(0)
option. We could also have used
horizontal
to obtain the same effect.

scatter workers2 faminc, xlabel(15000(1000)30000,
angle(45)
)
x
In this example, we label the
-axis
from 15,000 to 30,000 incremented by
1,000. When we have so many labels,
we can use the
angle(45)
option to
display the labels at a 45-degree angle.

Colors
A
colorstyle
allows us to modify the color of an object, be it a title, a marker, a marker
label, a line around a box, a fill color of a box, or practically any other object in graphs.
The two main ways to specify a color are either by giving a name of color (e.g.,
red
,
pink
,
teal
) or by supplying an
RGB
value giving the amount of red, green, and blue to be mixed
to form a custom color. See [
