Work Flow
Even though this topic presents the production phase of animation in a linear fashion, it does not have to be so.
As was mentioned before, the fact that there is so much to do on a project like this can be seen as a strength as
opposed to an obstacle. If you are feeling burned out after doing nothing but animation for 3 days, there is no
reason that you can't take a break and work on the fi nal sets. Or take a day to record and play with voice work.
It's important to remember, though, that hard core animators never quit. Ever. They just go crazy after a few
months and melt into a puddle of coffee and keyframes. The lesson? Don't be a hard core animator.
Break up the schedule. Take a day off, even. But if you fi nd yourself becoming bored, remember that there
are a lot of very interesting and engaging things to do within the scope of your project. You can almost cer-
tainly fi nd something fresh to work on.
