Here is the basic work fl ow for binding a shape to a control:

You will need two windows available at once: a
3D View
with the character's mesh object selected and
an
Ipo Editor
set to
Shapes
and with the
N-key Properties Panel
showing. Such a confi guration is
shown in Figure 10.28.

On the right hand side of the
Ipo Editor
, left mouse button select the name of the shape you would
like to bind to a controller (Figure 10.29).
