Install Doors Properly!
Facing a door the wrong way allows mobs to attack you. Skeletons,
which are always deadly accurate, can actually fire their arrows through
the door. For this reason, always place doors while you are standing out-
side the area you want to protect.
You can find coal in the ground here and there. The blocks are patterned with flecks of
black and are often visible on the sides of cave walls. But you can't dig too far or venture
too deep into a tunnel complex without the lack of light becoming a problem. Fortunately,
there'saneasierwaytomaketorches,andthat'sbyusingcharcoalinsteadofcoal.Tomake
charcoal, you need a furnace, and for that you need cobblestone.
