Tool Enchantments
Enchantments are incredibly useful, but they usually only last for the durability of the item
and are lost in their entirety when repaired at the crafting table. What if you could repair
that item without losing the enchantment and even add an additional enchantment? Enter
the anvil.
Hammer It Out with the Anvil
The anvil has many talents. It can repair and rename items, apply enchantments from
topics, combine two enchanted similar items, and combine the enchantments in two en-
chanted topics, as long as the enchantments are compatible.
Anvils do, however, require a lot of iron: 31 ingots in all.
