T-Junctions
The T-Junction allows a train track to branch off in two directions, with the direction con-
trolled either via detector plates or some other power source. Create this track by placing
yourrailsintoaT-section.MinecrafttakescareofconvertingtheheadoftheTintoawork-
ingjunction.Generallyspeaking,themostusefulwaytoswitchthetracksistoplacealever
at the top of the T, as shown in
Figure 9.28
, but you can also run redstone to achieve the
same result perhaps all the way back to a destination switching board at the station. The
power needs to terminate at the block underneath the track, making it possible to hide any
wiring from view.
