Slimes drop slimeballs, a substance that makes ordinary pistons stickier than duct tape.
Slimeballs are also used in creating magma cream, which is most useful in The Nether for
swimming across lava lakes, and for crafting leads, which make passive mob management
much, much easier.
Endermen
The Enderman is a curious, otherworldy creature surrounded by a purple haze (see
Figure
bers, but they also appear in The Overworld quite often, so I've also included them here.
