bar's height by also factoring the height of neighbors.
Click on the “ þ ” button in the title bar to the right of the “Smooth” label to
somewhat smooth the bar heights.
Notice the adjustments in bar height.
Repeatedly click on the “

” button until it disappears.
Each time the “ þ ” button is clicked, the neighboring bars contribute more and
more. At the highest possible level of smoothing, we see two and maybe three
sub-populations of somewhat normally distributed values. During initial explo-
