Customizing metadata views
The default metadata views should provide all the information that you'll need about a clip, but Final Cut Pro
gives you the option to further customize these views or create your own views from scratch.
To open the Metadata Views window, choose Edit Metadata View from the Views pop-up menu. In the
Metadata Views window, you'll find a staggering amount of metadata to scroll through and use to customize the
views that appear in the Inspector (see Figure 4.23). You can reduce this list of metadata items to the specific at-
tributes that you require from the Properties pop-up menu. From here, you can choose to display just the proper-
ties associated with a particular type of metadata, such as video or audio.
