Make sure the Event Browser's filter pop-up menu is set to Favorites, and then select Scene 12 Slate 62
Take 5 and press E to append the clip to the Timeline. Double-click the clip's waveform in the Timeline to
expand the audio, select the audio's Out point, and drag it to the right by 5 seconds to reveal the two extra
ball hits as shown by the peaks in the clip's waveform (see Figure 11.3). We can use this extended audio
track to continue the ball hits into the following clip.

2. Select and play Scene 12 Slate 63 Take 4 in the Event Browser. Because we're continuing the ball
bounces from the previous clip, we don't need to use any audio from this clip. Position the playhead at 22
seconds and 4 frames in the Timeline (at the video Out point for Scene 12 Slate 62 Take 5) and press
Shift+2 to select Video Only as the source media. Press E to append Scene 12 Slate 63 Take 4 to the end of
the Primary Storyline, and press Shift+1 to switch the source media back to All (see Figure 11.4).

3. Play back the edit to see the result. Katie rolls onto her back two times before sitting up in bed. Obvi-
