Let's see this in action by creating an audition for the Bump in the Night sequence:
1. Select the Bump in the Night Collection in the Event Library and set the Event Browser's filter to All
Clips.
2. Open the Bump in the Night Project in the Timeline.
3. Select Scene 9 Slate 60 Take 2 in the Event Library and drag it over Scene 9 Slate 60 Take 3 in the
Timeline until both clips turn white.
4. Release the cursor and choose Replace and Add to Audition from the shortcut menu. Take 2 replaces
Take 3 in the Primary Storyline and a spotlight icon appears at the top left of the clip.
5. Click the icon to view the Audition window.
6. Press Control+ +Y to play the clip in the Viewer and, as it plays, use the right arrow to switch between
the two clips in the audition.
7. When you've finished comparing the two picks, choose the clip that you prefer and click Done to close
the Audition window. Press the Spacebar to stop playback.
8. Press Option+Shift+Y to finalize the audition.
