One of the main reasons I love FileZilla is because the software is constantly being
updated and the developers associated with this project work their buns off to make
sure that it is one of the fastest and most stable FTP programs in the wild.
Using an FTP client is actually pretty easy and really straightforward. Once you sign up
for a hosting solution you will be given credentials to plug into your application, and
once connected, if your FTP client supports the feature, you can just drag and drop the
files you want into any folder on the server that you have permission to access. Here is
an example of what some FTP credentials might look like:
url: ftp.myawesomesite.com
user: testuser112
password: pssw0rdz
port: 21
path: /var/www/myawesomesite.com/
If you've never done this before, it might seem a bit confusing. In the next section, we'll
walk through deploying an app from start to finish.
