The objects that we have discussed so far in the construction of views exist mainly in the
virtual world. For applications such as those that use head mounted displays to provide the
user with the experience of, say walking through a virtual city, there is a need to match
virtual world to the physical world. Specifically, the important dimensions and sizes of
the two world must match so that objects rendered based on the virtual universe appear in
the right size to the user.
