Concluding Remarks
In this chapter we illustrated the use of the R package glrt to analyze interval-
censored survival data. This package allows users to conduct four generalized
logrank tests to compare survival among k 2 treatment groups. In addi-
tion, the package provides the NPMLE of a survival function. The version
1.0 of this package, including sources, binaries, and documentation, is avail-
able for download from the Comprehensive R Archive Network http://cran.r-
project.org under the GNU Public License. Future work includes improving
output formats, incorporating graphics to show user survival function esti-
mates of different treatment groups, and increasing computation eciency.
