(1 0 1) planes of graphite (

are observed in the selected area electron diffraction (SAED) pattern of the CNFs
[105]
. With the incor-
poration of
-TCP, it displays well-defined lattice fringes with a d-spacing of 5.23
˚
, which can be
assigned to the (1 1 0) lattice plane of rhombohedral (R3c)
β
-TCP (
Figure 18.12B
and
Figure 18.13B
).
The homologous interplanar spacing indicates the high crystallization of
β
β
-TCP nanoparticles
[106]
.
