12.7 Conclusions
In conclusion, the future in orthodontic treatment will rely mainly on nanotechnology should all the
current attempts succeed to its clinical application at a reasonable cost to the orthodontist and
patients. It is recommended that appropriate research funds be allocated to orthodontic and dentistry
nanotechnology research and development to help take these technologies to the clinical
trial
phase.
