Nanomaterials in ICP-MS
It is well known that ICP-MS is an outstanding method for the
determination of inorganic element because of its extremely high
sensitivity, large dynamic range, low matrix effect, and element
speciicity. In addition, ICP-MS is capable of simultaneously detecting
multiple elements in a few minutes. Thus, by labeling NPs to the
biological molecules, simultaneous detection of multiple analytes
has been conducted using ICP-MS coupled with immunoassay.
Zhang
et al
. reported a novel nonisotopic immunoassay by coupling
sandwich-type immunoreaction to ICP-MS.
