Coumarin-6-loaded.PLA-TPGS/TPGS-COOH.NPs.with.and.without.trastuzumab.con-
jugation.were.prepared.in.the.same.way.as.the.docetaxel-loaded.NPs,.except.the.drug.was.
replaced.by.0.05%.(w/v).coumarin-6..Coumarin-6-loaded.NPs.were.used.for.the.in.vitro
cellular.uptake.experiment.
8.5 CharacterizationofTrastuzumab-ConjugatedNanoparticles
8.5.1 Size and Size Distribution
Particle.size,.polydispersity,.zeta.potential,.and.drug.encapsulation.eficiency.of.the.doc-
etaxel-loaded.PLA-TPGS/TPGS-COOH.NPs.of.0,.10,.20,.and.33.3%.TPGS-COOH.with.or.
without. trastuzumab. surface. modiication. are. listed. in. Table  8.1,. from. which. it. can. be.
seen.that.the.NPs.of.all.formulations.in.this.study.were.around.300.nm.in.diameter,.with.
a.polydispersity.of.around.0.15..Surface.modiication.of.the.NPs.by.trastuzumab.slightly.
increased.the.particle.size.and.polydispersity,.but.this.did.not.seem.to.be.affected.by.the.
amount.of.trastuzumab.on.the.NP.surface..From.our.point.of.view,.NPs.of.around.200 nm.
