characterize.disease.in.early.stages,.to.deliver.therapy.speciic.for.that.disease.phenotype,.
and. to. monitor. serially. the. response. to. that. therapy.. The. ability. to. characterize. disease.
quantitatively.through.speciic.biomarkers.(like.HER2.or.angiogenesis).can.help.stratify.
patients.by.their.predicted.response.to.different.therapy.options..Targeted.nanoparticles,.
which.not.only.safely.and.stealthily.carry.highly.potent.therapeutics,.but.also.are.visible.
via.noninvasive.clinical.imaging,.can.offer.conirmation.of.drug.dosing.with.a.prediction.
of.response.at.the.time.of.dosing..The.actual.response,.beginning.only.days.posttherapy,.
may. be. monitored. serially. employing. the. same. particles. used. to. diagnose,. thus. either.
conirming. effect.or. suggesting.an.alteration. sooner. rather. than. later.. All. these. features.
coalesce.to.help.usher.in.the.possibility.of.personalized.medicine.
