When to Use
Fixed at-
tribute

Fixed attributes are columns that should not change or that require
special handling when you make changes. By default, a change on
one of these columns is treated as an error.
Changing
attribute
Type 1
When a change is made to a changing attribute column, existing re-
cords are updated to reflect the new value. These are typically
columns that aren't used as part of business logic or time-sensitive
reporting queries, such as a product description.
