Getting to Know You
As your new birds adapt to their brooder, they'll ease into a regular routine of eating, ex-
ploring, and resting. Pay close attention, and you'll notice their individual personalities
emerging. You'll see which of the lot will plow headfirst into the feeder when it's filled
in the morning, which chick may keep to herself or lag behind in the chase when a moth
flies into the box, which chick never seems to stop peeping, and which won't make a
sound unless you reach a hand in and pick her up.
