5.5 Conclusion
Considering the sky-rocketing cost of game development, creating proper tools for
productive development can be even more important than creating the end product
itself. Especially for big AAA titles, assets for the game have also become huge,
and in order to manage them productively, a dedicated tool like the asset browser
in Sandbox is now essential.
In this chapter I have discussed an effective strategy for persistently keeping
asset metadata and tags, so as to minimize user waiting or blocking in various asset
browsing scenarios.
