Because the motion you have has translation, rotation, and scale, you will need
another axis, which will create another point for the tracker.
Note
Multiple point tracking is covered in Chapter 5 , but here's a short re-
cap: Because the camera in this shot produces a movement that in-
cludes translation, rotation, and scale, only one set of X and Y loc-
ations won't produce the rotation and scale needed, just translation.
Adding another set of X and Y locations will enable calculation of
rotation and scale.
13. Create another Axis node from the 3D toolbox. Make sure it's not connected to
anything.
14. Do to Axis3 the same as you did to Axis2. The Translate.y and Translate.z values
should be the same, but the Translate.x value should be different as shown in
FIGURE 9.21 :
• Translate.x = 33
• Translate.y = 14
• Translate.z = −26
