The Viewer lets you rotate around the cube to really see all six sides of it, all of
them textures with beautiful checkers.
Toplacethecubeonthefloor,youneedtomoveitupalittle.Bydefault,thecube
is created between −0.5 and 0.5. The floor usually is at 0. You need to change the
creation location to run from 0 to 1.
9. In Cube1's Properties panel, change the Y and T Cube properties to 0 and 1 re-
spectively ( FIGURE 9.13 ).

In relation to the imported camera, the cube, which is a size of 1 now, is pretty
small. Let's make it bigger.
10. Change the Uniform Scale property to 10.
To now see the cube over the background, input the original background of the
Lemming shot to the “bg” input of the ScanlineRender node.
11. Connect the output of Read2 to the “bg” input of the ScanlineRender1 node.
12. View the output of ScanlineRender1 in the Viewer and make sure you're viewing
the 2D Viewer.
You still can't see the cube because it's not connected to the Scene node.
13. Connect Cube1 to Scene1 by dragging from Cube1's output and releasing the
mouse button on top of Scene1 ( FIGURE 9.14 ) .
