Because you want the computer to
remove
a color from the image (blue or green, nor-
mally) you want the screen to be lit as evenly as possible to produce something close to a
single color. This is, of course, hard to do and rarely successful. Usually what you get is
an
uneven screen
—a screen that has many different shades of the screen color.
