Chapter 5. 2D Tracking
This chapter explains how to 2D track in Nuke. Tracking means following a group of
pixelsaroundfromframetoframeandgatheringtheirlocationoneachframe.Track-
ing makes it possible to gauge how much movement is taking place from frame to
frame. You can use this movement information either to cancel that movement out
by negating it—called stabilizing —or to transfer that movement to another element,
