ANukeproject usually starts bybringinginimages fromyourharddrive.Morenodesare
inserted after the image nodes and connected with pipes until a desired look is achieved.
The process tree is rendered to disk for the final result and can also be saved in what's
called a Nuke script to be opened later for changes.
In this lesson I explain the nuts and bolts of the Nuke interface so you will feel at ease
clicking where youneed to.Itmay seem boring,butit'samust. Knowing the components
of the Nuke interface is the foundation of all the cool stuff you'll do later.
Components of the Graphic User Interface
Nuke's interface consists of a large window that can be split in various ways. By default
the Nuke interface appears as in FIGURE 1.1 .
