Abomasum:
The last of the four compartments in a goat's digestive system, where
true digestion occurs
ADGA:

Advanced registry:
A doe documented to have given a set amount of milk over
the course of a year (high-yield)
Alcilli:
Another name for alveoli
Alveoli:
Tiny sack-like structures containing cells that secrete milk in a mammary
gland
American:
A doe that is seven-eighths pure of one breed or a buck that is fifteen-
sixteenths pure
Anthelmintics:
Medications that eliminate worms
Artificial insemination (AI):
The impregnation of a doe using frozen sperm from a
donor buck
