4.4.3.5 Influence of SO 2
To investigate the impact of SO 2 on mercury speciation transformation, Case 4
condition was designed. The results are displayed in Fig. 4.69. When the concen-
tration of SO 2 was 500 ppm in the flue gas, compared with no SO 2 , it was obvious
that HgS (g) , HgSO 4(g) and Hg 2 SO 4(g) appeared in the reaction product of mercury.
