You can see the name you gave to the cookie at the left,
UserName , its value, Paul , and also the directory it's
applicable to. The expiration date is there as well; it's just
not in an easily recognizable form. Note that you may
sometimes need to close the browser and reopen it before
you see the cookie file.
Viewing Cookies in Firefox
There is no sharing of cookies between browsers, so the
cookies stored when you visited websites using IE won't be
available to Firefox and vice versa. The examples in this
section use Firefox 31.
Firefox keeps its cookies in a totally different place from
IE, and the contents are viewed by a different means. To
view cookies in Firefox:
1.
Click the “Hamburger” icon and choose Options
as shown in Figure 13-9.

Select the Privacy option.
3.
Click the “remove individual cookies” link and you
should see the dialog box shown in Figure 13-10.
4.
Click Close to get back to the browser, and load
freshbakedcookie.html .
