6. Switch to the Exclusion tab, and expand the Components folder.
7. Double-click c15-16 and c15-17 to control whether they will be in the
assembly.
8. In the column for c15-17, click the Include value, and use the drop-
down to change it to Exclude.
9. Add the last instance of the Cross Recessed Truss Head screw as well.
10. Now expand the Constraints folder on the Exclusion tab, and add the
six named assembly constraints to the list.
11. Set the values for the two constraints for the knob to Exclude.
12. Right-click the iAssembly row, click Insert Row to add another mem-
ber, and then add a third using Insert Row.
13. Change the iPart version of each iPart to match the member version
of the assembly.
14. For iAssembly Member -03, exclude the c15-16 part and the Cross
Head screw.
15. Then exclude the constraints that have Wire Pull in the name.
16. Set the c15-17 part and constraints that say Knob to Include .
17. Set the Part Number names to 24 inch for -01, 20 inch for -02, and 16
inch for -03.
Since this iAssembly might be used in other assemblies, it's impor-
tant to make it easy to click the version you want to use. Applying a
key to the features or information that an end user might need makes
it much easier for others to find the right iAssembly member.
18. Right-click in the Part number column, and hover over Key in the con-
text menu until a list of numbers appears. Click 1 in the list to make
the part number the first (and only, in this case) key for selecting a
member of the iAssembly.
19. Compare all the settings in your dialog box to Figure 15.16.
20. Click OK to generate the iAssembly.
21. In the assembly, expand the Table folder near the top of the Browser.
22. Double-click the instances to see the versions of the assembly.
