11. Set the Longitude and Latitude values to 35, and then click Save and
Done to finish the edit.
12. Click the Render Image tool on the Render panel to create a new ren-
dering like Figure 13.12.

Additional shadows and highlights appear in the rendering thanks to the addi-
tion of shadows, the repositioning of the light, and the change in its color. Of the
things that affect the scene, lighting is the aspect that will take the most practice
and produce the most important results.
Adjusting the Camera Settings
The Essentials 1 camera that is used in the previous exercises was created by
right-clicking in the Design window and selecting Create Camera From View in
the context menu. Now you will modify it to give the renderings a little style:

1. Verify that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then open the
c13-05.iam file from the Assemblies\Chapter​13 folder.
2. Click the Inventor Studio icon on the Environments tab.
3. Expand the Cameras group in the Browser, right-click the Essentials
1 camera, and click Edit in the context menu.
4. In the Camera:Essentials 1 dialog box, change the Zoom value to 36
deg, and set the Roll Angle value to -10.
5. In the Depth of Field group, click the Enabled check box, and set the
Near value to 400 mm and the Far value to 430 mm. See Figure 13.13.
