10. In the value box in the Transformations group in the dialog box, type
65 , and click the green check mark to set the value of the last tweak
to 65 mm.

11. Now hold the Ctrl key and click the blue part and the washer to remove
them from the selection.

12. Drag the bolt to the right approximately 50 mm, and click the Clear
button in the dialog box.
This clears your previous selections for Direction and Components
but does not close the Tweak tool. This is a great way to change direc-
tion or focus without having to restart the tool.

13. If it's not already highlighted, click the selection icon for Direction,
and then click the shaft of the bolt.

14. Change the Transformation type from Linear to Rotational by clicking
the Rotational radio button.

15. Select the bolt, change the Transformation value to 720, and click the
green check mark.

16. Click Close to finish adding tweaks to the exploded view, which will
closely resemble Figure 13.1.

As it is, the current view would work well for showing someone how this assembly
is built. But why limit yourself to a static view when you can easily build an anima-
tion from the work you've already done?

Controlling the Assembly Instructions

Everything needed to create an animation is already done. Now, you need to be
sure that this animation is done in the correct order and add controls for visu-
alization and modify some of the values. Animations can show assembly or dis-
assembly, and as you will see in the next exercise, you can control the order in
which the parts are moved:

1. Verify that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then open the
c13-02.ipn file from the Assemblies\Chapter​13 folder.

2. Click the Animate tool in the marking menu or on the Create panel
of the Presentation tab.

3. When the Animation dialog box opens, click the Play Forward icon.
The tweaks you added in the previous exercise animate in reverse
order as the assembly comes back together.
